Great to meet you!

It is a pleasure to meet you. I have over 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental and emotional wellness. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and have dedicated much of my career to working with clients across the lifespan—from children and adolescents in pediatric settings to adults in private practice. My background is rooted in deep curiosity and a genuine passion for helping people find clarity and focus. I identify as a warm, energetic, and inquisitive therapist, and I strive to bring that same energy into every session to ensure you feel seen, heard, and truly supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is deeply client-centered and trauma-informed, meaning I prioritize your unique lived experience above all else. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I pull from a variety of evidence-based modalities—including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness—to tailor our work to your specific needs. Having completed extensive training through the Ferentz Institute, I am particularly attuned to how past experiences shape our present lives. Whether we are exploring attachment theory or practicing somatic grounding, my goal is to operate from a place of curiosity rather than judgment, helping you identify unhelpful patterns and build the resilience needed for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm welcome and a safe, encouraging space to share whatever led you to take this step toward therapy. This initial meeting is about connection and exploration; I want to understand your goals, your history, and what you hope to achieve. It is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for my style and determine if we are a good fit for one another. We will work together to identify your primary concerns and begin outlining an actionable, comfortable plan for our future sessions. My hope is that you leave our first meeting feeling heard and empowered, with a clear sense of how we will move forward toward your healing together.
