Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Kim and I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I graduated with my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2020 during the pandemic. I have worked in the public sector for the majority of my career and am excited to branch into my own private practice.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is relationship and progress in therapy, I feel, is largely based on how solid the therapeutic relationship is. I enjoy getting to know people. I am warm and positive and I want to hear my client's story. I am solution-focused and want to help clients get unstuck and move meaningfully through life.

What you can expect from me

Within the first couple of sessions, we will work together to find out what you want from therapy. Where do you want this journey to lead you? What do you want to change/better for yourself and your relationships? Clients working with me can expect to benefit from a solution-focused and goal-oriented therapist who also appreciates the narrative and the process.
