Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, I believe prioritizing your mental health leads to improved self-esteem and overall mood. I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2013 with a Masters in Counseling and have worked with a variety of services over the past 10 years. I currently work with adults, addressing various issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, stress, and addiction. I look forward to working with you!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and humanistic: I believe each individual has their own unique set of strengths, abilities, and experiences. I also believe that each individual deserves a safe and non-judgmental space to explore ideas about themselves and how they fit into the world. My therapeutic style draws from several different treatment modalities, which I use interchangeably to meet your needs.

What you can expect from me

We will start with an introductory session, where you can share a bit about your story and discuss goals you hope to achieve. It is my priority to create an environment where you feel accepted and safe in being vulnerable. I will support you in addressing goals at your own pace. When you are ready, we will identify the steps and tools needed to progress towards your goals. These tools can include psychoeducation, exercises, and SMART goals.
