Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and high performers—including Division I athletes, professionals, and anyone striving to meet high expectations. In my work, I’ve learned that growth happens at the edge of comfort—where support and challenge meet. My clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to be both direct and deeply compassionate, creating a space where they feel seen, understood, and encouraged to move forward.

Born in Taiwan, raised in Southern California, and trained in San Francisco and New Mexico, I bring a blend of cultural humility, life experience, and professional training into every session. These days, I split my time between supporting Division I athletes at New Mexico State University and working with individuals in private practice. As an Asian American therapist, I value identity, culture, and lived experience as essential pieces of healing. I aim to create a space where you can show up as your real self—without judgment, without masks.

My approach to therapy

My style is integrative, rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and grounded in attachment theory. I often work with individuals navigating trauma—whether community, complex, or attachment-related—and I tailor my approach to the unique story each client brings. While CBT and attachment-based work form the foundation, I also draw from psychodynamic, Jungian, existential, and humanistic perspectives to deepen the process when it serves your growth.

What you can expect from me

Our sessions will be a space where you don’t need to filter your thoughts or feelings. You can lay it all out, and together we’ll unpack, reframe, and reorganize things so they make more sense. You may not leave every session with all the answers, but you will leave with more clarity, hope, and tools to move forward. Most importantly, you are not alone.
