Great to meet you!

I’m Larissa Yossa, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Master of Science in Nursing. My journey in mental health began eight years ago, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to those navigating life’s most difficult mental health challenges.

My approach to therapy and medication management is rooted in deep empathy. I truly enjoy helping others and make it a priority to "walk in my patients' shoes." By understanding your unique perspective and lived experience, I can better partner with you to create a treatment plan that feels both supportive and effective.

Whether you are seeking help for the first time or looking for a new perspective on your mental wellness, I am here to listen and support your growth.

My approach to therapy

I use a deeply empathetic approach, prioritizing "walking in your shoes" to ensure you feel truly heard and understood throughout your mental health journey. My practice combines eight years of clinical experience with a focus on evidence-based medication management and supportive therapy tailored to your unique needs. I specialize in partnering with individuals to navigate complex mental health challenges, fostering a collaborative environment where we work together toward your long-term wellness.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm and nonjudgmental environment where I take the time to listen and understand your unique story from your perspective truly. We will conduct a thorough evaluation of your mental health history and current goals to ensure we are building a foundation of trust and mutual understanding. By the end of the visit, we will have collaborated on a personalized initial roadmap for your care, ensuring you leave feeling heard and supported.
