Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Laura, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping women navigate complex trauma, PTSD, and unresolved emotional pain. I've spent the last 7 years working with clients to help them heal from experiences that continue to shape their daily lives. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), along with advanced training, to help clients process difficult memories and reduce the emotional charge they still carry. My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced to your comfort, because healing shouldn't feel like reliving your pain all over again. If you're ready to move beyond survival mode and start feeling like yourself again, I'd be honored to help guide that process.

My approach to therapy

If you've spent years feeling on edge, disconnected, or held back by pain that doesn't quite make sense in the present moment, you're exactly who I love working with. My approach is trauma-focused at its core — I use EMDR to help your mind process memories and experiences that have stayed stuck, and I draw on parts work (IFS) to help you understand the different pieces of yourself that developed to protect you, even when they no longer serve you. Together, in a space that feels safe and steady, we untangle the past from your present so your reactions no longer feel bigger than the moment in front of you. This work goes beyond symptom relief — it's about reconnecting with yourself, softening old patterns, and building a life that finally feels like your own.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you — your story, your environment, and the support network around you, and how all of it impacts the way you're feeling and functioning today. I create a warm, collaborative space where you'll never feel judged or rushed, just truly heard. From there, we build your goals and a plan to move forward together — you'll have input every step of the way, and your collaboration is not just welcomed but encouraged. My goal isn't to keep you in therapy indefinitely; it's to help you break free from what's been holding you back so you can move forward with more self-trust, emotional freedom, and grounded resilience — and eventually, live life on your own terms
