Great to meet you!

Welcome! I approach my work with clients from a relational, evidence-based perspective; while I want to use research-based interventions to help you in your therapy journey, I also recognize the importance of the therapeutic relationship itself. The space I try to build with clients is warm, supportive, humorous, and actively engaging. I see clients for both short and long term therapeutic interventions depending on need.

My approach to therapy

I have several years of experience with clients from diverse backgrounds across the five boroughs; the specialties listed in my profile reflect the modalities and diagnoses with which I’ve trained and worked the most heavily, but I have experience with a wide range of diagnoses and life transitions that bring people to therapy. I’ve trained in multiple modalities but specialize in acceptance and commitment therapy; exposure and response prevention; and relational psychotherapy.

What you can expect from me

I try to help clients find a greater sense of meaning in life and to begin to take action based on that meaning that we've identified. For those clients seeking short-term interventions for depression or anxiety, I aim for symptom reduction through identifying values; changing unhelpful thought patterns; and providing a warm, compassionate therapy space.
