Great to meet you!

Life by design creates challenges. Some of these we can anticipate and prepare for while others we simply cannot. It is in these unexpected moments we may encounter feelings that are new to us, more intense than we have ever felt, and may seem unbearable. This can leave us lost and feeling hopeless. We are not lost. We are not hopeless. Allowing these feelings to be felt is key to moving forward through the experience. Sorting through emotions helps to discover steps to relief .

My approach to therapy

As an experienced therapist, I acknowledge the courage it takes to seek assistance . It is my profound privilege to be invited to join you on your path to relief. It may be difficult or feel impossible to seek assistance when hurting but it is possible. Starting with what today feels like and looks like insures a better understanding of how to assist and gain relief.

What you can expect from me

During therapy, strategies will be learned to better cope with a current situation and /or life in general. Often times, people already have the tools, but do not recognize them as such. Further, teaching new life /coping skills and how to apply those in various situations will also be addressed.
