Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I understand that improving mental health improves relationships and happiness. Seeking help and experiencing parts of yourself that are distressed takes courage and a desire to make things different which is always a risk so congratulations on already engaging in the work. For the past 10 years, I have partnered with individuals, couples and families who are struggling with connection, understanding and experiencing joy specializing in anxiety, depression and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I want to get to know you and understand what matters most to you. We all have a unique story that is tender and full of overcoming challenges. Once we decide to work together, our partnership will focus on building a space to understand and experience the thoughts and feelings that come up and get in the way of connection, joy and an engaged life. We will focus on discussions that support increasing choice and tender self care, to reduce reaction and avoidance of the activities that matter most.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect kind curiosity, presences and a desire to understand your struggles and your goals. Together we will develop small but actionable steps to move you toward a life that is more fulfilling, engaged and a place where you can experience more contentment.
