Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in nursing, and I truly enjoy the work I do. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue Global University and hold board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. My clinical background includes medical surgical nursing, psychiatry, and geriatrics, which allows me to understand how mental health, physical health, and life stressors all interact.

I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, chronic stress, or significant life challenges. I believe healing starts with feeling safe, understood, and not alone in what you are going through. I strive to create a space where you can show up as yourself, feel genuinely heard, and begin to make sense of what you have been carrying.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence based practice. I see our work together as a partnership where your voice and experiences are central to the process. I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach, and I take time to understand your unique needs so we can create a plan that truly fits your life.

I provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare using a holistic and interdisciplinary lens, recognizing the connection between mind and body. When appropriate, I collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support your overall well being. I’m also committed to ongoing learning so I can offer the most current and effective treatment options while always meeting you with empathy and respect.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for you to feel welcomed into a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I take time to learn about your concerns, your history, and what has been weighing on you, while also recognizing your strengths. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals. My intention is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of direction and the reassurance that you have a dedicated partner in your journey toward healing and improved well being.
