Dr. Lesha Shah

I am a psychiatrist with over fifteen year of experience with children, adolescents and adults, and am dually board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Following undergraduate studies at Barnard College, Columbia University and after medical school, I completed my psychiatry residency at Tufts University and my fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

In addition to my clinical work, I have expertise in medical ethics focused on issues of consent, capacity, and shared decision-making in healthcare and for research trials. I also remain dedicated to teaching and mentorship of undergraduates, medical students and trainees.

I provide comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic assessment as well as ongoing treatment utilizing evidence-based modalities including medication management and psychotherapy.
