Leslie Brown

Leslie Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor from Belton, Texas. Leslie earned a Master of Arts Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.

Leslie works with women and teens experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, traumatic events and transitions. She sees post-abortive and post-miscarriage women, to process pregnancy loss. Leslie also sees teen and parent relationships.

Leslie is an integrative counselor, adapting to the needs of her clients, and pursues the best form of therapy for the personality and needs of her patients. She has received basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Level Two of Gottman Method Couples Therapy, CBT training from the Beck Institute and an introductory training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Leslie counsels from a Christian perspective but is comfortable seeing all backgrounds.

It is Leslie's goal as a counselor to provide a warm, accepting and honest environment where vulnerability, honesty and hard work are encouraged. Leslie genuinely cares about her clients and their wellbeing, so even in the tough and challenging therapy moments, Leslie consistently gives her clients her unconditional positive regard and honesty.
