Great to meet you!

For 13 years I have worked in behavioral health in a variety of settings including residential, day programs, outpatient, rehabilitation, academia, and addictions. Although that may seem like a lot, it simply means I have experience working with a broad range of clients and clinical needs. The majority of my experience encompasses substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma. I also have experience working with youth ages 6 to 14, adults, and gender specific issues.

My approach to therapy

I desire to make therapy a place where you feel safe and comfortable sharing thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment or shame. My style is warm, supportive, challenging and tough when needed, but always with a bit of humor and laughter mixed in to soften the landing. I’m here to walk along beside you as you navigate challenges; never replacing your thoughts and wisdom with my own, but helping you tap into the power within you to grow, heal, thrive, and most of all, live!

What you can expect from me

Mental health is a journey, and while we all may feel lost at times, that is not an indication of how life will continue. It takes a lot of strength and courage to work towards a more well-balanced and happier life; if you are ready to take the next step, I’m ready to support and empower you.
