Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by illness, caregiving, grief, or the uncertainty of what comes next, you may be carrying more than most people can see. I work with adults and families facing cancer, serious illness, end-of-life concerns, and loss, and for over 18 years I’ve supported people through some of life’s hardest moments. My background in oncology, research, and hospice helps me understand the emotional weight that can come with diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and saying goodbye.

My approach to therapy

In therapy with me, you can expect honest, grounded conversations, steady support, and even a little humor when it helps lighten the load. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, grief counseling, and supportive therapy to help you process what’s happening and find your footing. Sessions are collaborative and down-to-earth, with space to talk about the practical, emotional, and deeply personal parts of what you’re going through.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling less alone, more supported, and better able to cope with what’s in front of you day to day. Together, we can help you make sense of big emotions, communicate your needs more clearly, and carry this season with more steadiness and self-compassion. In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s weighing on you, what support would feel most helpful, and what you want therapy to give you right now.
