Great to meet you!

I will work with you to honor and appreciate who YOU are, quirks and all. We will use our collective wisdom to find new ways for you to respond to life's challenges. You will hear me say this a thousand times: Your feelings are okay, your thoughts are okay, it is what you do with them that counts!

With 35+ years of professional Psychotherapy and Social Work experience, in addition to a few more lived years of life's challenges and beauty, I find gratitude in helping you achieve your goals.

My approach to therapy

My primary treatment modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. What this means, essentially, is that we will examine your thought patterns and subsequently will practice creating new brain pathways to assist you in making choices that better reflect your personal and sacred values.

I can assist you with processing traumas using EMDR Trauma Therapy.

I also utilize concepts of Polyvagal Theory and Mindfulness, where I will help you practice calming your body, mind and emotions.

What you can expect from me

My hope in working with you is to help you uncover, love, and adore the person you are, while ironing out the kinks in your thoughts, emotions and actions. We will examine how you can improve old coping skills you previously learned that no longer work for you. My goal is to help you improve, appreciate, and value your imperfect self.
