Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Louisa, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for supporting individuals and families navigating major life transitions. My practice's primary focus is on helping new parents, people hoping to become parents, and those with medically complex children. I understand how overwhelming and isolating these experiences can be, and my goal is to offer a compassionate space where you can process your feelings, reflect on your experiences, and find ways to lighten your load.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and empathetic, and I believe in the power of humor to lighten difficult conversations. You may find that our sessions feel more relaxed and manageable than you might expect, even when dealing with tough topics.

In our first few sessions, we’ll spend time clarifying your hopes and goals for therapy. From there, we’ll collaborate on strategies to help you feel more supported and empowered, both in your parenting journey and your personal growth.

What you can expect from me

I’m passionate about this work because I know how difficult it can be to parent in today’s world. Systemic pressures make it harder than ever, but together we can find ways to make it a little easier—one step at a time.
