Great to meet you!

I have been a practicing therapist for a decade and I have special interests and certifications in addiction and perinatal mental health. I received my masters degree from the George Washington University and have a perinatal specialist certification from Postpartum Support International.

My approach to therapy

I believe in showing up as my authentic self to connect with you in a genuine way. Sessions with me are all about curiosity, and looking closely at your thoughts and feelings to figure out what we can learn from them. In therapy, you and I are a team, and we will work together to identify patterns that aren't working as well as ways to replace them with new behaviors that do work for you.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to walk away from your session with some new insight about yourself, something meaningful to think about, and at least one action step, something to do differently before the next session. I work to create a space where you feel safe and empowered to be inquisitive about your own inner world.
