Great to meet you!

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I am deeply committed to helping you explore your past experiences, gain awareness and understanding around your current thoughts, emotions, and actions, and work towards a purposeful and fulfilling life. I specialize in eating disorders, substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Other areas of concentration include relationship work, communication skills, self compassion, and body image.

My approach to therapy

Whatever you are going through, and however you perceive yourself and the world around you, I will meet you where you are at. It is not my job to judge you or tell you what to do. I am here to bear witness to your experience, to accept you for who you are, and to offer you feedback that can help you facilitate change in your own life. I value honesty, compassion, and understanding. I will provide a balance of empathy accountability, and (if helpful) some cathartic swearing.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help empower you to make the changes in your life that have wanted to make, and to help you identify what has been getting in your way. I also aim to give you the tools to get your own needs met, to hold space for however you show up in session, and to work together to achieve compassion, acceptance, and love for your authentic self.
