Great to meet you!

Hi, welcome! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #135576) with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, earned in 2018. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with children in underserved areas as well as survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. I believe everyone can heal from past wounds in the right space and with the tools that best fit them.

My passion is supporting clients with a history of trauma or childhood trauma and supporting them in their healing journey. Many of my clients often struggle with the following; negative thoughts, low self-esteem, worrying about things that can go wrong, unhealthy relationships, overextending themselves for others, traumatic experiences to name a few. If you identify with any of these challenges, reach out for a consultation call to start your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

In my practice I use; Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Based Practices to help foster healing. I collaborate with my clients to create a treatment plan tailored to them. I also check-in with my clients at the end of every session to give them the space to express what worked and didn't work for them. This is a collaborative process and I make sure to leave space for feedback.

What you can expect from me

In our first session you can expect to be greeted in a safe space where I will focus on learning about your history, goals, challenges, strengths, and identity.
