Great to meet you!

Marisol is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of the University of Southern California. She works with adults navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, including OCD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, betrayal trauma, and compulsive or addictive behaviors, as well as everyday life challenges such as relationship stress, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. She is affirming and experienced in working with the LGBTQ+ community.

Marisol keeps therapy real as insight is important, but she’s big on giving you tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life. Her goal is to help you feel more confident, self-aware, and able to handle things on your own (not feel stuck in therapy forever).

Outside of sessions, she’s usually with family, hanging out with her German Shepherd, or at a concert whenever she gets the chance.

My approach to therapy

Her approach is collaborative and individualized, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She also incorporates executive functioning skills training to support clients in managing daily responsibilities more effectively while building sustainable tools for emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with Marisol is relaxed, real, and pressure-free. Think of it as a conversation, not an interrogation. She’ll get to know you what’s been weighing on you, what’s working, and what you actually want to change while making space for humor, honesty, and whatever pace feels right.

Expect to leave with a bit more clarity, a sense of direction, and the feeling that you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
