Great to meet you!

There is a lot of shame wrapped up in asking for help, especially when the thing you are struggling with is something people just expect you to stop doing. I work with adolescents and adults navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and the complicated patterns that tend to build up alongside them. I am affirming of LGBTQIA+ and transgender clients and bring genuine understanding to the particular weight that comes with navigating identity in a world that does not always make that easy. My background includes years in chemical dependency treatment and work on drug and DUI court teams, so I have a lot of experience with people who are at real turning points and ready to do something different.

My approach to therapy

I am not here to judge how you got here or tell you what you should do. Our work is focused on finding what is already working in you, understanding what has gotten in the way, and building practical strategies that actually fit your life. I work best with clients who want a direct, honest relationship and are ready to look at things a little differently, even if they are not sure yet exactly what they want to change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other and figuring out if we are a good fit. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments, so we can work in whichever format makes the most sense for you. When you are ready to take that step, I would love to connect.
