Great to meet you!

Hi I'm Megan and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. I began my journey as therapist in 2019 where I worked with children and adolescents that were at risk for out of home placement. I provided in home Family Centered Treatment and focused on repairing the family structure to help support the child/adolescent. I then continued my work in an outpatient setting where I treated ages 8-65 providing CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy. I eventually moved on where I found my passion treating OCD with Exposure Response and Prevention therapy.

My approach to therapy

I look to treat the whole person with a systems and solution focused approach. I believe that you can use a multitude of modalities to treat the presenting problem rather a one size fits all approach. I'm challenging that I hold you accountable to doing the work that it is necessary to get better but I'm affirming that you feel supported.

What you can expect from me

We will discuss what brings you to therapy and what concerns or reservations you might have. Coming to therapy is really hard and it is important that we identify the barriers head on so we can address them. We will develop goals that reflect what you want to achieve with clear action steps on how to achieve them.
