Great to meet you!

HI! I'm happy you found my profile! I'm a Kentucky-based therapist (LCSW) who graduated from Fordham University in NYC. I am EMDR-trained and have also received trainings in CBT and IFS (Internal Family Systems)-informed EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). I am currently receiving trainings to help me better serve autistic folks, whom I love working with.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are an expert on your own experience and view myself as a companion in your healing journey. My approach is gentle, transparent, LGBTQUIA+(q)-affirming, strengths-based, and person-centered. I've found I'm most helpful to individuals living with PTSD, stress, anxiety, depression, and OCD. In addition to EMDR and CBT, I draw upon techniques from SFBT, MBCT, ACT, coaching, and insight-based modalities.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, I will provide education on therapy and assess symptoms that are bothering you to determine how to help. Next steps may include things like helping you connect with what you truly want out of therapy and co-creating treatment plan goals and objectives. If I determine you may need a referral to other services, or even another therapist, I will be happy to assist. I will always value, and speak transparently about, what I think is best for you and your care.
