What you can expect from me

I practice integrative psychiatry that incorporates research-based approaches including lifestyle management, nutritional approaches, sleep optimization, physical activity, natural medicine, anxiety reduction strategies, and several other forms of therapy and medications when needed.

In traditional psychiatry, often the approach is to focus on medications. Appointments are frequently only 10-15 minutes and often do not address important areas that help to improve mental health.

Prior to your initial appointment, you will be required to fill out comprehensive paperwork before your visit. I will thoroughly review the paperwork and have a plan of action ready to review with you on your first visit. We spend longer with our clients at the initial intake than most clinics. Your initial visit will last 1-1 1/2 hours. Follow up visits are longer as well, usually lasting 30 minutes to an hour depending on your needs. Together, I help you to achieve holistic changes to optimize your mental health.
