Great to meet you!

I’m a former high school counselor, growing my therapy practice since 2020. My journey in the profession began 20 years ago as a Psychology major working in campus ministry, followed by employment in community mental health and adoption agencies. I completed an M.Ed. in 2011 and then completed full licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in 2021. I specialize in teens, and also work well with high-performing women who struggle with anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I aim to create a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship while my clients work toward wholeness where they feel wounded. Symptoms of anxiety or depression often usher us into difficult life change that ultimately leads toward freedom and improved emotional health. I have an eclectic approach using attachment theory, IFS, Narrative-Focused Trauma Care, and faith if clients desire. I utilize Strengths-Based theory with teens, which is an evidence-based approach to suicide prevention.

What you can expect from me

I work well with individual clients age 12 and up who desire a warm and friendly dialogue while wanting to re-discover hope, purpose and beauty in the midst of their struggle. I enjoy helping clients navigate a season of change while flourishing into a more emotionally healthy version of themselves.
