Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Meredith and I am a licensed mental health and substance abuse counselor. I have a psychology degree from Clemson University and a Master's Degree from Western Carolina University. Being licensed in both fields, I have a broad range of experience working with a variety of clients and presenting issues. I enjoy helping my clients work through whatever is bringing them to counseling! I am here to listen, help, and walk through this journey with you.

My approach to therapy

As I always tell my clients, "I am trying to work myself out of a job"; meaning I want to see/help my clients improve. I want them to see the changes and progress for themselves. I want my clients to feel heard, respected, and cared for; and to know that they are not alone. We are in this together!

What you can expect from me

I want my clients to leave my sessions with hope and confidence. Hope that things can get better and confidence in achieving the goals we have set for them. In between sessions, I often give my clients ways to practice what we work on in therapy; that way they can begin to implement it into their lives.
