Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Michael Agugo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I’m here to support you with compassion, respect, and an open mind. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood as we work together on your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working together to develop treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and values. I use a mix of evidence-based therapies and medication management when appropriate, always taking time to listen and adjust care as we go. I have a special focus on supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, especially in community and family-centered settings. My goal is to empower clients to take charge of their mental health with support and guidance every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to manage their mental health. Whether it’s gaining clarity about what they’re going through, learning new coping skills, or making decisions about treatment, I aim to make each session meaningful and encouraging. My goal is to help clients feel more confident, more in control, and more hopeful about their path forward.
