Great to meet you!

I'm glad that you found my profile and I look forward to helping you cope with the challenges that you're facing. I'm an experienced licensed psychologist and specialize in helping clients with anxiety, self-criticism, depression, anger management, relationship issues and other life stressors.

My approach to therapy

The foundation of our work together is the relationship. My priority is to ensure that my clients feel safe, respected and understood. I utilize approaches with strong research support such as Cognitive Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I often integrate mindfulness and self-compassion based practices which help to reduce self-judgment and improve effective coping strategies. The quality of your life will improve as therapy supports you with making changes that are consistent with your values.

What you can expect from me

During the first session you can expect that I will ask questions about all areas of your life with an emphasis on understanding your need for therapy. I will encourage you to ask questions that would help you to feel more comfortable and informed about the therapy process. We will collaboratively establish goals for therapy and discuss how we will track progress over time.
