Great to meet you!

Hello! I have been in the field as a clinical social worker for almost 20 years and have had a wide range of experiences from inpatient work at psychiatric hospitals all the way to doing Equine Assisted therapy and Virtual Reality Therapy. My post graduate courses tend to generally focus on neuroscience, nutrition, trauma research, ADHD and Anxiety disorders.

My approach to therapy

I believe my approach tends to be very open, clients tell me they feel comfortable quickly, as well as collaborative. I enjoy working with clients to find the root cause of their struggles and develop strategies together which best fit their life.

What you can expect from me

First session I do an assessment, I never liked paperwork when I was younger but I genuinely enjoy taking the time to really get to know and understand the person or couple I’m working with, we explore goals and past experiences with counseling as well.
