Hello! I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Keiser University. My experience is primarily with teens and adults. I specialize in BPD and individuals with family members with BPD as well as trauma impacting relationships, boundaries, and attachment.
My approach the therapy includes DBT, CBT, Attachment theory, and Solutions Focused therapy. I am certified in DBT and trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) as a trauma-informed model of care.
The first session is all about getting to know each other. Therapy can be a scary thing, but it doesn’t have to be! I take a lighthearted and humorous approach while also considering the delicate information being disclosed. Day one will consist of obtaining basic information, informed consent, client rights, and planning goals and desired outcomes for therapy.
