Hi! My name is Miranda. I am a native of Rutherford County, North Carolina. My passion to work with individuals and families began while working in the dialysis field.
I completed my Bachelors and Master's of Social Work degree at Appalachian State University. I am honored to bring the skills I have learned to serve individuals and family's across North Carolina.
I have 3 years of clinical social work practice as a LCSWA and recently became fully licensed in January 2026.
My approach is holistic, working to heal your mind, body and spirit. I blend traditional therapeutic techniques with grounding practices like mindfulness to help you or your child find balance.
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), specializing in working with children and adolescents (ages 3-18). I help children and families process difficult experiences, ensuring the past trauma does not define their future.
During our first session, I will gather information to complete a clinical comprehensive assessment. I create a warm, safe environment where we begin to build rapport.
