I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and a certified neurofeedback trainer. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from The Catholic University of America - National Catholic School of Social Service and have practiced psychotherapy for over twenty years. Integrating neurofeedback since receiving my certificate from the Zengar Institute has yielded remarkable results in my psychotherapy sessions. Additionally, I hold a post-graduate certificate in clinical supervision from the Washington School of Psychiatry and am an approved clinical supervisor for the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
Recognizing that each client is a unique and creative individual who deserves the opportunity to be happy, successful, and fulfilled, I offer a caring and nurturing therapeutic approach. Serving the Washington, D.C. area, my clinical practice is grounded in a strengths-based perspective that empowers individuals by drawing on their personal assets to support recovery and growth.
My approach fosters hope by exploring previous successes and using them as building blocks for meaningful change. By integrating neurofeedback with psychotherapy, I help clients interrupt emotionally driven patterns of reactivity in the brain—often before they become consciously aware of them. This powerful combination frequently leads to faster and more lasting results than psychotherapy alone.
My clinical services aim to deepen insight, create learning opportunities, and support a committed path toward personal transformation and well-being.
Clients can expect a supportive, personalized experience that fosters self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting change. Through a strengths-based approach combined with the power of neurofeedback and psychotherapy, sessions are designed to help clients gain insight into their challenges, develop practical coping strategies, and unlock their innate potential for growth, healing, and empowerment.
