Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Nichole Arnold-Minkley, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). I work with individuals, children, and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and medical-related stressors, and I specialize in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents. I also support military populations, LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and parents, providing a safe, supportive space to process challenges and build healthy coping skills. My goal is to help clients heal, grow, and develop tools to navigate life with confidence.

My approach to therapy

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to help clients build practical coping skills and process difficult emotions. My goal is to help clients develop insight, strengthen resilience, and gain tools they can use in everyday life to improve their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your background, current concerns, and what goals you hope to achieve through counseling. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share anything that feels important. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood as we begin working together.
