Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nico, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing virtual therapy in California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma and complex trauma, relationship stress, identity shifts, and major life transitions.

Many of my clients appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of overthinking, or disconnected from themselves internally. Together, we slow down and make sense of the patterns beneath the surface so you can feel more grounded, clear, and confident in how you move through your life and relationships.

Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I’m really glad you’re here.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in trust. My style is warm, relational, and reflective. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that are shaping your current challenges.

Our work often includes understanding how past relationships, attachment patterns, and different parts of you influence how you experience anxiety, stress, and connection with others.

At the same time, therapy is not only about insight. I also help clients develop practical tools to regulate their nervous system, reduce anxiety, and feel more steady in daily life. My goal is to help you build clarity, self-trust, and a stronger relationship with yourself and others. Over time, many clients notice they feel calmer in their bodies, less caught in cycles of overthinking, and more confident in how they navigate relationships and decisions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to learn about you and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what feels stuck, what you’ve been navigating recently, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life or relationships.

I’ll ask questions to understand your story and help clarify goals for our work together. My goal is to create a steady, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
