I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with 33 years of experience. I have experience working closely with adults, children/adolescents and families from all different paths of life. My focus is to assist in identifying your goals, work through traumatic experiences and challenging relationship issues. I have completed extensive training allowing me to be rostered as a Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I am passionate about helping my clients improve their quality of life. With my years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field, I have continued to develop and build my skills as a professional to understand everyone’s individual struggles, support needs and strengths.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of approaches to therapy. I incorporate a person-centered and strengths base approach while using evidenced based techniques; such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness approaches.

My clients are able to have greater self-awareness and understand the why’s behind reactions, triggers and struggles. Improved regulation of mood and emotions by enhancing coping skills, healthier ways to resolve conflict and improve relationships.
