Great to meet you!

I use an integrated, evidence-based approach to psychotherapy for adolescent and adult clients from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through transformative healing. My sessions emphasize skills development and deepening insight into underlying mental health factors. While primarily utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I also incorporate therapeutic techniques from other evidence-based psychological interventions, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as appropriate. Clients typically resolve their core issues related to anxiety, depression, bipolar symptoms, substance use, ADHD, relationship concerns, sleep problems, and emotion regulation difficulties.

My approach to therapy

Therapy sessions typically include a brief check-in, agenda-setting, and guided discussions in a supportive, safe environment. Clients leave each session equipped with actionable skills and tools aligned with their personal and therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

After an initial phone consultation, I encourage completion of brief psychological assessments at baseline and periodically over the course of psychotherapy treatment. I reinforce behaviors and thought patterns that align with a client's goals. I provide feedback and guidance as obstacles arise and to break avoidance patterns. Specialized assessments may be conducted to informed more nuanced work in therapy. I can interpret findings from a wide variety of psychological assessments and help client's transfer assessment results into actionable goals and reasonable steps.
