Great to meet you!

I believe healing doesn't have mean reliving every hard moment out loud.

As a therapist, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported and gently guided. I specialize in Accelerated Resolution

therapy (ART) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I also very much believe in learning new skills to assist the brain and body stabilize into a life without pain. I teach Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) an Basic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills.

I'm dedicated to guiding women through the unique complexities and challenges we face in life. With a focus on self-esteem, relationships, and personal growth, I create a warm, supportive space where women can explore their thoughts and feelings with genuine empathy.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, down to earth, non judgmental and collaborative. I work with women navigating anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, and the lasting effects of emotional /relational trauma. I am licensed professional counselor (LPC) in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida (LMHC) and certified national counselor (NCC). Since becoming a counselor, I've developed expertise in working with young women with combined college counseling experience of 10 years, and I absolutely love it! I've worked with many women 18 through 50 achieve empowerment and train their brains to create the life they desire, rather than the life they feel they "should" have and living authentically in the present moment.

I'm excited to meet you and help you achieve your goals. See you soon!

What you can expect from me

No pressure, no pop quiz. "Start from your beginning. A calm safe place where you can breathe and share as much or as little as you want and feel heard. We will talk about what brought you here, what your hoping to gain, and how your brain and body has been responding to stress and pain. Then, I will gently introduce you to the type of therapy that will work best for your individual needs, (It's not cookie cutter.) And hopefully leave the first session with a sense of hope and relief.
