Great to meet you!

Life is a journey full of challenges. How we view and cope with these challenges along the way will define our journey. I believe the process of developing true self-awareness and authenticity is a choice. Creating a caring and safe space for clients to share and grow is important during turbulent times.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. I have been working in the mental health and substance abuse field for over 20 years in a variety of clinical settings. I currently have a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with specialty certifications in Addiction Counseling (MAC). I am also EMDR trained and a BLAST technique Practitioner specializing in anxiety, trauma and life coaching.

I’m looking forward to working with clients who need to heal, talk it out, strengthen coping skills and work towards positive life outcomes.

My approach to therapy

Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution/trauma focused and parts therapy approaches will allow us to work together as we assess factors that may impact your emotional well-being and relationships with others. "Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it." - Holtz
