Great to meet you!

I work with individuals navigating emotional pain, life transitions, and personal growth, offering a steady, compassionate therapeutic presence.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, respect, and clinical insight. I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, supporting them through concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and personal growth.

For nearly two decades, I have served as a therapist in a college counseling setting in Vermont, working closely with young adults during pivotal stages of their development. In addition, I have provided care in both community mental health and hospital emergency settings, supporting individuals and families in moments of acute crisis. These diverse clinical experiences have deepened my understanding of the many ways people experience distress and the many pathways toward healing.

My approach to therapy

I bring a confident, grounded approach that fosters trust and safety through warmth and empathy. My treatment approach is eclectic, drawing from mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and client-centered therapy. This integrative approach allows me to tailor treatment to each individual's needs while supporting insight, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to healing. Feeling deeply understood, accepted, and free of judgment increases self-awareness and supports meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In the initial session, I hope to establish rapport and begin to understand what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to address.
