Great to meet you!
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in New York. I earned my PMHNP degree from New York University, where I also studied holistic nursing, and I hold a Master of Public Health from George Washington University. My public health training shapes my understanding of mental health as deeply influenced by social, environmental, and systemic factors, including access to care, family systems, and life stressors. This lens allows me to approach treatment with attention to both individual experience and the broader contexts that impact emotional well-being.
My nursing background includes work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) settings. In the NICU, I supported parents navigating the emotional complexities of having a critically ill infant, providing psychological support during periods of acute stress and uncertainty. In IVF care, I worked closely with individuals facing fertility challenges, offering empathetic, trauma-informed support during deeply vulnerable experiences. I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health and reproductive psychiatry, including medication management during pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and fertility-related challenges.
My psychiatric practice includes working with adults across the lifespan experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions. My approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions.
I strive to provide care that is evidence-based, collaborative, and grounded in warmth, respect, and empathy. I am deeply committed to honoring each client’s values, autonomy, and personal goals, and to creating a therapeutic environment that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.
