Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency medicine and behavioral health. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions.

My approach is direct, supportive, and rooted in real-life application. I don’t believe in surface-level care. I help clients understand what’s actually driving their symptoms, build awareness, and develop practical strategies they can use outside of sessions.

I often work with individuals who are used to showing up strong for everyone else but feel stuck, burnt out, or disconnected themselves. Together, we focus on creating clarity, improving emotional regulation, and building confidence from the inside out.

Treatment may include a combination of medication management and therapy, depending on your needs and goals. My priority is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported in making meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and focused on real-life change. I work with clients to understand not just what they’re feeling, but why it’s happening and how it’s showing up in their daily lives.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Each plan is individualized and may include a combination of therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and medication management when appropriate. I place a strong emphasis on building awareness, identifying patterns, and developing practical strategies that clients can consistently apply outside of sessions.

I tend to work well with individuals who feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in cycles they can’t seem to break. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but struggling internally. My role is to help create clarity, improve emotional regulation, and support sustainable progress—not just temporary relief.

Sessions are structured but flexible, with a balance of reflection, education, and actionable steps. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest while also feeling challenged to grow.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding the full picture, not just your symptoms, but your experiences, patterns, and what’s been working or not working for you.

We’ll go over your history, current concerns, and what brought you in, while also identifying any immediate areas that need support. I’ll ask direct but supportive questions to help clarify what’s going on beneath the surface, so we’re not just treating symptoms, we’re understanding them.

By the end of the session, you can expect:

  • A clearer understanding of what may be contributing to how you’re feeling
  • Initial goals tailored to your needs
  • A plan for next steps, which may include therapy strategies, lifestyle changes, and/or medication options if appropriate

My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a sense of direction, not overwhelmed or left guessing.

The environment I create is open, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, but also focused. I will meet you where you are while also helping you move forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
