Great to meet you!

Well hello there!

I'm Renee, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has spent nearly 20 years showing up for people in some of their most vulnerable moments — from crisis centers to kids & teens to community mental health. I know how hard it can be to find care that actually fits, especially when you've been turned away, put on a waitlist, or told your needs are "too complex." That's exactly who I built this practice for. I bring a calm, unhurried presence and a genuinely trauma-informed lens to every single appointment — because healing isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is the path that brought you here. I work with children, teens, and adults across the lifespan, and I have a deep passion for walking alongside people who have felt overlooked or underserved by a system that wasn't built with them in mind. If you've been searching for someone who will truly listen, I'd be honored to be that person for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with one simple belief: before anything else, your story deserves to be heard. I practice from a trauma-informed, ACE-aware framework — which means I'm always asking not just "what's wrong?" but "what happened to you?" I specialize in medication management, but I believe medication is one tool in a much larger toolkit, and every decision we make together will be thoughtful, collaborative, and right for you. I have a deep clinical comfort with serious mental illness, emotional dysregulation, and high-acuity presentations — complexity doesn't intimidate me, it's where I do my best work. Above all, I want every person I work with to feel safe, respected, and genuinely seen.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply about showing up — you don't need the right words or a clear diagnosis to walk in. We'll spend our time getting to know each other, exploring what's brought you here, and starting to build a picture of your story at whatever pace feels comfortable. I never rush toward conclusions, because good care starts with trust, and trust takes time. By the end, my hope is that you leave with one simple feeling: that you made the right call reaching out.
