Great to meet you!

I am a self acclaimed nerd and love to own that part of my personality. I am a culturally empathetic and ethical clinician. I specialize in men’s issues, self esteem concerns, and a host more. I am a dual veteran Army and Air Force Behavioral Health provider. My experience includes working with adults who often feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from themselves and the people around them. I can help you navigate life transitions, reprocess trauma, and learn how to deal with the secondary effects in a healthy way while still managing your life.

I look forward to helping to Remotivate You!

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches including EMDR, Solution Focused Counseling, TF-CBT, and CBT, CPT, to help clients process trauma, reduce anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and better understand patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck. I have worked closely with adults with historical trauma, military and veterans, as well as high-performing professionals who may struggle with stress, deployment re-adjustment, corporate and workplace burn-out, or concerns about seeking mental health support while maintaining career responsibilities.

My goal is to help individuals develop greater mutual understanding, improve communication, and build healthier patterns of interaction in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, you can expect a relaxed, warm, and judgment-free conversation focused on understanding what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope to improve moving forward. We will discuss relevant life experiences, current stressors, coping patterns, and any symptoms that may be impacting daily functioning.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to the individual rather than “one size fits all.” Some clients are looking for practical tools and structure, while others may need more space to process difficult experiences or emotions. Together, we will begin identifying goals, exploring patterns, and determining what treatment approach may be the best fit for your needs.

Come prepared to ask questions, get comfortable, and focus on you!
