Great to meet you!

A warm welcome to you! I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, teens, and families. As part of my own tribe, I also continue to serve and advocate for the mental health needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals, along with other marginalized members from minority communities. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and driven by a trauma-informed lens, and I am passionate about working on client concerns such as anxiety, depression, the impacts of childhood emotional abuse and neglect, major life transitions, and work or interpersonal stress.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a gay-identifying therapist and a person of color, I approach therapy from an East/West perspective fused with spirituality. I keep it real. Curious. Compassionate. Challenging. Tell it like it is. Simple in some ways, profound in others. Shedding light on your blind spots and connecting all the pieces that help fulfill who you want to be.

What you can expect from our first session

During your therapy, we can create a decisive shift in mind and body. I work from somatic and cognitive approaches while bringing my clinical and life experiences into the room. Drawing from my background in Brainspotting to IFS, my approaches are as unique and diverse as my client’s needs.
