Dr. Roger Green

Hello and Welcome. I am Dr. Roger Green. I have been in practice for nearly thirty years as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for the past fifteen years. My Doctorate is from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.

I treat both children and adults with mental health issues. I have experience in caring for clients of all ages with anxiety, depression, mood disorder, substance abuse, and attention and focus issues. I also have experience in providing care for clients with serious mental health conditions such as schizophrenia.

I utilize many theories in approaching care. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in addition to motivational interviewing and crisis management, guide my approach to care. I work to establish goals with patients that are realistic and evidence-based.

During the first meeting, it is important to get a clear understanding of the issues that you desire to focus on and gain assistance with. The first meeting will include a history of your symptoms, what treatments you have previously engaged in, and what areas you would like to specifically focus upon.
