Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in authenticity. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, emotions, and personal challenges. I believe therapy should not only focus on symptom reduction, but also on helping individuals build self-awareness, resilience, emotional balance, and meaningful change within their lives and relationships.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed practices. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II (CCTP II), I have extensive training in working with trauma, including the impact of adverse experiences on emotional regulation, relationships, self-worth, and daily functioning. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, race-base and sociocultural stress, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity-related concerns, and emotional overwhelm.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to be supportive, welcoming, and focused on creating a safe space for healing, recovery, and self-exploration. I strive to foster an environment built on trust, empathy, authenticity, and nonjudgment where clients feel heard and emotionally safe. During the initial session, we will begin building therapeutic rapport, exploring the concerns that brought you to therapy, identifying meaningful treatment goals, and developing a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your individual needs, strengths, and desired outcomes.
