Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist who specializes in working with anxious overthinkers, people-pleasers, perfectionists, and caregivers who are exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who look “high-functioning” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, self-critical, or emotionally drained on the inside.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a school counselor, which deeply shaped how I approach mental health, relationships, and family systems. I also bring lived experience as a parent into my work, especially when supporting clients who are navigating stress, burnout, and the emotional demands of raising children.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in nervous system regulation, attachment theory, and evidence-based practices. I focus on helping clients feel safer in their bodies, understand their emotional patterns, and build practical tools for managing anxiety, boundaries, and self-worth. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and real—we’ll focus on both insight and actionable change.

I believe healing doesn’t require perfection. It requires honesty, curiosity, and support. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, trust yourself more deeply, and remember that you are already worthy—already enough, already gold.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is designed to feel welcoming, supportive, and low-pressure. Many people come to therapy feeling nervous, unsure of what to say, or worried about “doing it right.” You don’t need to prepare anything special—just come as you are.

We’ll start by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You are always in control of what you choose to disclose, and there is no expectation to share everything all at once.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, stressors, strengths, and goals. We’ll explore what’s been feeling hardest lately, what support has (or hasn’t) worked in the past, and what you’re hoping will be different through therapy.

Together, we’ll begin identifying a few meaningful goals and areas of focus—whether that’s managing anxiety, reducing burnout, improving boundaries, strengthening relationships, or feeling more connected to yourself. These goals are flexible and can evolve as we go.

I work to create an environment that feels emotionally safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. You can expect to feel heard, validated, and supported—without pressure to have everything figured out.

By the end of our first session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, a deeper understanding of themselves, and often one or two practical tools or reflections to carry with them. My hope is that you leave feeling a little more grounded, hopeful, and less alone in what you’re navigating.
