“Sam” a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Her experience includes working with kids, adolescents and adults with histories of domestic violence, addiction, trauma, physical & mental health conditions, as well as children in the school setting. Sam received her degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling and a certificate of grad. studies in Trauma Counseling from Regent University. Sam works with adolescents, adults and families.

My approach to therapy

The therapeutic approaches most often used are person-centered, reality-based, solution-focused, trauma-informed, mindfulness and expressive arts. Sam fully believes meeting a person where they currently are in their life journey along with establishing a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship allows individuals to achieve the growth and understanding they desire.
