Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Sandra Kelly, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving individuals across Texas. I provide a supportive, practical, and collaborative approach to counseling, helping clients navigate life's challenges while building resilience, confidence, and lasting emotional well-being.

I work with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, and emotional regulation difficulties. I also have a special interest in supporting professionals experiencing high levels of stress and burnout, including business leaders, educators, first responders, military personnel, and those in helping professions. Additionally, I have experience supporting expecting and new mothers as they navigate the emotional, relational, and lifestyle changes that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into parenthood.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Drawing from my experience in private practice, schools, and community settings, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

Whether you're navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, managing the pressures of a demanding career, adjusting to parenthood, or simply seeking personal growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and balance.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe each client is unique, so I tailor treatment to their individual needs and goals. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful change.

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to counseling, your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and the goals you'd like to work toward. I will also review confidentiality, including its limits, so you have a clear understanding of your rights and what to expect throughout the counseling process.

My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and supported. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we'll have a better understanding of your needs and begin developing a plan to help you achieve your goals.
