Great to meet you!

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I studied anthropology with a deep interest in collecting people’s stories. I took that curiousity and now apply it to the field of psychotherapy. I can relate to many different backgrounds due to my past and life experiences traveling around the globe as well as studying cultures and how people interacted day-to-day in the past as well as present. Due to this experience, I am able to assess a patient and find ways to help them inside and outside of the box.

My approach to therapy

I start by taking a thorough patient history in order to look at how these unconscious urges developed in childhood affect us in adulthood. This allows me to assess a patient after listening to their principle complaint and coordinate different therapeutic tools to help with that. I approach the healing process as a psychodynamic psychotherapist combined with a humanistic perspective with the purpose of bringing the unconscious to the conscious while providing a caring and empathetic atmosphere.

What you can expect from me

I help set goals and outcomes that enable patients to live their best life according to their unique needs and wants.
